Today’s Treasure Coast Fl. deep sea fishing charter was with repeat customers Brian and Greg. Greg fished with me years back when I was running Boneshaker Sport Fishing Charters. Today we set out looking for meat. We bought some bait, then caught some bait and headed offshore. We set out a trolling spread in 100 feet and started looking for grouper marks. As we were doing that we caught a decent sized dolphin and missed another smaller fish. We found a spot that was marking grouper and sent down a couple rods. In three drifts we caught a scamp grouper and 2 out of 3 gag grouper up to 22 pounds. We had our limit on Gags and they didn’t want AJs so back to trolling we went. We released a sailfish and caught a bonita, but that was about it. Dolphin fishing has slowed down a lot, but there are still some nice fish being caught. Today’s Stuart Fl. fishing charters was with Grover, his daughter Ashley and her friend May. The girls ended the day with a few AJs, keeping a couple, and releasing one 55-60 pounds. They also caught a few dolphin and had a handful of grouper bites, which ended up breaking us off. We also had a sailfish and a wahoo bite that we did get. We had awesome weather and a great day on the water. Your best bets are dolphin, grouper, amberjacks and maybe even a sailfish or a wahoo. Great action on today’s Stuart Fl. fishing charter. Tony D, Brian and their friend Andrew set out in hopes of big cuda and amberjacks today. Good bottom bait was hard to catch today so it was a good thing that I had some pilchards and crabs already with us. To make a long story short we gave a pilchard to a 400 lb. blue marlin and a crab to a big permit. Yes, we had plenty of other action throughout the day, but those are the highlights.
