Today’s Treasure Coast Fl. deep sea fishing charter was with repeat customers Brian and Greg. Greg fished with me years back when I was running Boneshaker Sport Fishing Charters. Today we set out looking for meat. We bought some bait, then caught some bait and headed offshore. We set out a trolling spread in 100 feet and started looking for grouper marks. As we were doing that we caught a decent sized dolphin and missed another smaller fish. We found a spot that was marking grouper and sent down a couple rods. In three drifts we caught a scamp grouper and 2 out of 3 gag grouper up to 22 pounds. We had our limit on Gags and they didn’t want AJs so back to trolling we went. We released a sailfish and caught a bonita, but that was about it. Dolphin fishing has slowed down a lot, but there are still some nice fish being caught. We should get a second boost of good dolphin fishing in about another week. I have open days starting June 3, call or contact me soon to book your Stuart Fl. fishing charter aboard Off the Chain. Looking forward to taking you fishing soon.
This is the perfect time of year for Stuart Fl. fishing charters. The winds are calming down, the sky’s are blue, and the fish are biting. Whether it’s a long range Fl. tuna charter, or just a half day fishing charter fishing Stuart’s local waters off the Treasure Coast, this is the perfect time to get your friends and family out on the water. Your best bests right now would be to target dolphin, sails, cobia, permit, kingfish, grouper and amberjacks on our local Stuart fishing charters, or make the ride over to the tuna grounds and target yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, big dolphin, wahoo, and maybe a shot at a billfish. Give me a call to set up your family vacation, or summer getaway. Stuart Fl. fishing charters are Off the Chain this time of year!
The dolphin fishing is in full swing right now, grouper season is open, and it’s a great time to book your Treasure Coast sport fishing charter. Our local Stuart Fl. fishing charters are targeting mahi mahi, wahoo, blackfin tuna, kingfish, grouper, permit, cobia, amberjacks, and more right now. There are still some sailfish around too, and read about the blue marlin we caught a couple of days ago on 16 lb test. May, June, and July are great months to go on a deep sea fishing charter out of Stuart, Florida, or to book your light tackle fishing adventure.
